Madhu Khemchandani was inspired to start a social enterprise that supports women and trans people to attain economic independence, especially those who are victims of gender-based violence, economic abuse, poverty, and patriarchy.

Madhu’s aim is to develop their confidence and make them independent by equipping them with skills that foster employability and entrepreneurship.

Participants are trained on the basics of baking, financial literacy, digital literacy, etiquette and grooming, and emotional well-being followed by an internship for two months, and then placed in suitable positions.

Good Measure, her food brand, is engaged in making products, the revenue from which directly supports the Foundation.

Here’s a conversation with Madhu Khemchandani.
