Neeraja is a faculty with the School of Arts and Sciences.

Neeraja teaches literature at the University. She received her PhD from the University of Hyderabad in 2014. Her doctoral research focused on narratives of disease in contemporary public culture in India. These narratives include medical documentaries made by the Films Division, India and memoirs written by doctors and patients in the late twentith century in India about the experience of illness and its treatment.
