I completed my PhD in Economics from Delhi School of Economics at the University of Delhi. My research focuses on the economics of discrimination and unequal opportunities in economic well-being, and its impact on growth. I also study the evolution of wage polarization over the skill spectrum of workers, along with its intersection with other social identities. Beyond Economics, I am also interested in the related zones of sociology and politics of caste and gender.

I have taught post-graduate (Masters) students of Economics at the Delhi School of Economics. I also have teaching experience with undergraduate students of Economics at the University of Delhi. I was a part of the EU-funded NOPOOR project as a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for Development Economics.
