Jwairia has worked in the education sector for over 27 years as an administrative and academic head in various schools in India and the UAE. 

She has also been a consultant for school quality inspections since 2009 in Dubai and Bahrain, and an ISO 21001 – 2018 auditor for EOMS (Quality Standard for Educational Organisation Management Systems) since 2019.

She has postgraduate degrees in English Literature and Education (Special Education as the optional subject) from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She has a bachelor’s degree in Science with Genetics as a major and a bachelor’s degree in Education (Special Education as the optional subject) from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Her passion for quality improvement in education drove her to acquire qualifications in special education, educational and instructional leadership, early childhood education, quality management, and human resource development from various universities in India, the US, and the UK. 

She is the recipient of the Advaith Leadership Award (2017), in recognition of her work in transforming the educational ecosystem in schools for improved learning outcomes among students.

She is a hard-core practitioner with her research interests focused on the capacity building of teachers and leaders through a systemic approach to quality improvement in education.
