	 Dementia Patients in IndiaBrief Intro About the ProjectIn India, the prop
	ortion of the population aged 60 and above is projected to double from 10.
	5% to 20.1% between 2023 and 2050, driving the old-age dependency ratio fr
	om 15.7 to 23 by 2036. As formal geriatric systems remain limited, the dem
	and for informal family caregiving will surge. Caregiving for older adults
	 with dementia represents the upper bound of this caregiving burden due to
	 intense time demands, financial strains, and severe psychological impact.
	 This project seeks to gain a comprehensive understanding of family caregi
	ving for dementia patients in India through an exploratory quantitative da
	ta analysis. Unpacking these micro-dynamics is essential to provide critic
	al, evidence-based insights for policymakers, researchers, and other publi
