Ritika Gupta is a Psychologist and a certified Arts Based Therapist. In the past she has worked with varied populations; has experience in conducting therapy for children with special needs, assessment and interventions for severe mental disorders, group sessions and workshops for caregivers and adults. At community based NGOs like The Banyan (Chennai) and Bapu Trust (Pune) she gained experience in mobilizing local resources to enhance mental health in the community and worked actively with the homeless population.

In light of the above she formulated a module named ‘Global Leadership and Development Program’ which inculcates mental health as a life skill for school children and constructed do-it-yourself oral motor kits for parents to use at home. Her thesis titled ‘Using arts based therapy with children at risk to build emotional awareness and communication skills as protective factors against mental illness’ aimed to explore the same.

Outside of work she is passionate about gardening, yoga, cooking and has an insatiable love for nature.
