Kids for Climate
There is a need for inspirational stories for kids that instil a sense of wonder about our planet.
Pratham Books will create a picture book around this theme, with sustainable education being its focus.
To promote reading through engaging and joyful books, this book will be developed in four mother tongue
languages Hindi, Marathi, Telugu and Kannada, and English over 12 months starting June 2020.
This book will be either a Level 3 (Reading Independently) or Level 4
(Reading Proficiency that caters to children between the ages of 4-10 years).
The book will be available in a variety of standard digital compliant formats, with open
access to digitised content and illustrations. The digital book would be released under a
CC-BY 4.0 license and available at no cost to readers on StoryWeaver, an open source digital
repository developed by Pratham Books.
Here users can read, download and print, or translate this story.
