Prakash has been deeply engaged with issues in education for 6 years through his work in Wipro's education reform initiative - Wipro Applying Thought In Schools. In this period, he worked closely with different organizations across the country in interventions in mainstream schools. These diverse experiences led him to do a course in Cultural Studies. He is interested in the intricacies of how societal norms - in the form of culture and practices - come into being.
He works with the Philosophy of Education group in the University and program manages various initiatives in the University. He is a Trustee with maraa - a media and arts collective in Bangalore.
Prior to all this he worked in the software industry for over a decade.

He co-teaches an introductory course on Renaissance and assists with the Philosophy of Education course in the MA Education program.
