Neeraj studied law at Christ College, Bangalore and holds LL.M. (Master of Laws) with specialisation in Corporate and Financial Laws from the National University of Singapore. He was called to the Bar in 2013 and has been practicing law with focus on corporate and commercial matters including international commercial arbitration. He has advised on matters relating to foreign investment laws in India, corporate governance and commercial contracts.Neeraj has also appeared before the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court where he led arguments on writ petitions and appeals.
Neeraj has an interest in academics and has taught courses on company law and commercial arbitration law at School of Law, Christ University and Tamil Nadu National Law School.
Neeraj’s research interests are in private law; specifically, corporate governance, international contracts, international commercial arbitration and private international law. He iskeen on comparative analysis in these specific areas in the backdrop of globalisation and its legal outcomes.
